Harlen Guse of Eagle Bend was one of Minnesota’s at-home players on an episode of Powerball-The Game Show that aired on Saturday, October 14.

The Eagle Valley football team traveled all the way to Murdock to play their last regular season and conference game last Wednesday. The Rebels came away with a hard fought 17-14 win. This win gave the Rebels the Conference South championship with a 6-0 record and completed their regular season at 8-0.

October 30, 1975
The Eagle Bend Tennis Court promotion was completed last Saturday afternoon whey they drew the names of the winners of the TV and the radio. The winner of the TV was Dennis Johnson and the radio went to Celia Thompson.

The Central Todd County Care Center Board and local citizens crossed their second hurdle to construct a new 74-bed nursing home and retirement center. They won the approval of their application for a certificate of need from the Central Minnesota Comprehensive Health Planning Council at a special hearing conducted on Thursday afternoon, October 23, at St. Gabriel’s Hospital, Little Falls.
