The Eagle Valley boys basketball team added two big conference wins to their record last week. On Tuesday, the Rebels defeated St. John’s Prep 64-48, and on Friday, they defeated Browerville 73-71 in a come from behind, overtime win. The Rebels’ team play appears to have turned a corner from the low scoring struggles they had earlier in the season. In each of the past four games, Eagle Valley has made strides forward in all aspects of their play. The first quarter against Browerville did not disappoint, as Josh Motl dropped a pair of threes in leading Eagle Valley to an 18-14 lead in the first quarter.
