Forty teddy bears, furry ones, cloth ones, in all colors of the rainbow and some others besides, have recently been made by women of the United Methodist Church in Eagle Bend. “We had made teddy bears for the Eagle Bend Fire Department once before, but they have run out,” explained Carolynne Bisel. “They asked us to make some more. The teddy bears are given to children at fire calls or accidents. The little bears give them something to hold onto and they console them.”
