New inductees into the National Honor Society were: Amanda Crider, Justin Boseck, Danielle Notch, Kali Dickinson, Crystal Hess and Sara Sales.

On Monday, May 14, the Rebels boys and girls junior varsity finished their golf season strong at Oakwood. The boys shot well enough for a third place finish out of the eight teams there. Mike Anderson led the team with a 46, which also gave him an individual second place medal. The other players that shot well were: Kyle Hanson, 50; Brett Perish, 56; Jason Connelly, 61; Chad Olson, 63; and Joseph LaVoie, 81.

Eagle Bend held the local Dairy Princess contest last Saturday at the Main Street Cafe. Crowned the Eagle Bend Dairy Princess was Karen Krause. Her two attendants were Char Guse and Judy Decker. These three girls will now compete equally with other girls for the County Dairy Princess Crown on June 10 in Bertha.

Eagle Bend’s Outstanding Farm Families are sponsored by the Eagle Bend FFA Chapter. Pictured, Myron Oftedahl, past FFA president; Mr. and Mrs Wayne Aspengren and Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Nordstrom, Outstanding Farm Families of Eagle Bend, and Kevin Ehnes, present FFA president. The Wayne Aspengren and Dallas Nordstrom families will now be considered for the County Outstanding Farm Family.
