Hewitt native Ryan Booen is the new owner of Steve’s Alignment in Wadena. He took over ownership on April 1.
His interest in vehicles was “sparked” after the engine of his Chevy Silverado blew, and his father, Mike, helped him rebuild it.
“I just thought it was fun,” said Booen.
He attended a car show with his father and was particularly impressed by his dad’s friend Ray Kaufman’s 1970 Chevelle.
“It was like two blocks of old muscle cars and stuff. I just thought that was fun to go to,” he added.
A 2002 graduate of Bertha-Hewitt, Booen worked various jobs before attending Central Lakes College in Brainerd where he graduated in 2011 with Automotive Service Excellence as a Master Automobile Technician, earning a total of ten different certifications...
