Shed is a total loss due to fire

The Wadena Fire Department was dispatched to a shed fire on Tuesday, April 19, at 12:48 p.m. in Section 27 of Leaf River Township. Upon arrival fire personnel observed a small outbuilding shed fully engulfed in flames. Fire personnel was able to quickly extinguish the blaze. The shed was a total loss.

In addition, due to the wind, an additional shed adjacent to the shed on fire also received damage to an exterior wall. The shed was being used for housing dogs that were recently bred. Unfortunately, an unknown number of puppies perished in the fire. . .
