The Pirate Medallion: Traveling back in time to pirates and a treasure chest
The Verndale School Drama Club performed The Pirate Medallion over the weekend.
Siblings Sally (Hannah Hinman) and Tom (Gabe Hinman) noticed a ship floating in the harbor and sailed out to look at it. Sally hopped on board followed by Tom and found half of a treasure map on deck. She recalled the story of her great-great-great-grandmother’s medallion being stolen and hoped the map could lead them to it.
Sally ran below deck to look for the other half of the map. Tom stayed topside, afraid to follow her, as the wind whipped and eerie whispers were heard. Sally emerged back on deck and Tom looked out to search for their boat, noticing the ship they were on was now docked at some unfamiliar place. . .
