Tigers' Court Named for Beloved Coach and Mentor Harvey Christensen

The Browerville School dedicated the new gym to Harvey Christensen on Saturday, December 6. At right, the plaques denoting the dedication of the Harvey Christensen Court were handed to his daughters. Browerville Superintendent Scott Vedbraaten and School Board Chairperson Robert Bryniarski walked to the center of the basketball court on Saturday, December 6, carrying two plaques to present to the daughters of the late Harvey Christensen. The presentation marked the dedication of the new school gymnasium in Christensen’s honor.

Harvey and his wife Sandra had two daughters, Wendi and Kelli. Wendi Emery is married to husband, Duane, and their two children are Brandan and Brady. Kelli Alstead and her husband, Jason, also had two children, Kennedi and Tucker.
