Tigers play 5A West championship: End year 8-2 in Prairie Conference

Browerville/Eagle Valley - 53, Nevis - 79

The Browerville/Eagle Valley Tigers found themselves back in a Sub-Section 5A West championship game against a familiar foe in the Nevis Tigers. Over the last nine years, the two Tigers teams have met five times in tournament play. Three of those games have been a Sub-Section final, one was a semi-final, and the other was a Section final.

The #2 seed Tigers played the #1 seed Nevis last week in Wadena. Nevis brought in a high-powered offense averaging over 74 points/game while their defense only gave up 49 points/game. . .
