Tigers take down the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves

by Coach Robert Schueller

Browerville/Eagle Valley - 66, Walker-Hackensack-

Akeley - 30

After a snowstorm-filled week and no school for several days, the Browerville/Eagle Valley Tigers came out full of energy taking down the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves in a very convincing way.

The Tigers won the opening tip and charged in for a quick score, but missed the layup. WHA wasted no time scoring as they connected on their first shot; P. Brock made a three-pointer.

That would be the only shot the Wolves would make in the opening eleven minutes. B/EV would score 26 unanswered points and take complete control of the game. The first half was filled with 19 turnovers by the Wolves to just 2 for the Tigers. The Wolves' turnovers turned into easy transition baskets by the Tigers who had 27 shot attempts and made 63% of them including 5 of 9 from three-point range. . .
