Tigers win two, drop one

Last Tuesday the Tigers softball team traveled to Upsala for a Prairie Conference matchup with the Cardinals. The Tigers struggled in all three aspects of the game and eventually fell to the Cardinals by a final of 2-5. Sloppy defense, too many free passes, and several mental mistakes were the demise of the Tigers along with a strong pitching performance from the Cardinals pitcher.

Offensively, we would only gather 6 hits on the day, led by Aubriana Schwanke with 3 hits. Schwanke and Sophomore Abby Marxer combined to pitch 6 innings giving up 0 ER and striking out 6 batters on the day. . .
