Two toddlers fall through apartment windows days apart
The Long Prairie Police Department reported two incidents at the 2nd Avenue apartments, 925 2nd Avenue NE in Long Prairie.
The first incident happened Monday, April 10, at approximately 6 p.m. The second one happened on Wednesday, April 12, at about 1 p.m.
Chief Ryan Hanson explained the kids had both been jumping on their beds that were next to the window in the bedroom, when they may have stumbled or fallen into the window that were both open past the security stops.
The first incident happened on the third floor and the second incident was on the second floor.
The first child was in stable condition, but still at Children’s Hospital.
The second one had been released to go home that same night. . .
