Two vehicle accident at 210 and 71
On Friday, May 14, the Minnesota State Patrol responded to and investigated a two-vehicle crash at the Highway 71 and Highway 210 intersection in Hewitt just before 11 a.m. A Chevrolet Impala, driven by Patricia Kraemer, 64, of Wadena was northbound on Highway 71. A Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Tiffany Murphy, 28, of Verndale was eastbound on Highway 210. Murphy stopped and attempted to enter the intersection, causing the crash. None of the occupants involved in the crash were transported for injuries. Murphy was cited for “fail to yield right of way stop sign”. The Hewitt Fire Department and Todd County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
