Walter Riberio of Dragonfly-e gave the council an update on his project. He was working with a client in North Dakota and they have a problem now, which is called carbon intensity. That means that whatever new fuel you produce, you must ensure they use less gas to make that fuel equivalent to diesel or fossil fuels.
Riberio is now working with a new business that creates sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). This market is worth $200 billion worldwide. This process would use items that would otherwise be discarded, such as turkey litter and leftover crops to produce the SAF....
