Verndale City Council: Fire Truck Dilemma Sparks Concern

The Verndale City Council held their regular meeting on November 13. Mayor Tara Erckenbrack was absent.

Supervisor Matt Uselman stated that it seemed they were not successful with the grant for a wheeled loader. He’s tried contacting them several times and has not heard back. He is trying to get some answers from the USDA before moving forward.

Second Avenue Northwest may have to be repaved as part of it has fallen apart. He will monitor it this winter and get quotes in the spring....
