The Verndale School Board held their regular meeting on September 21.
Auditorium and Media Center
The steel studs are up in the media center. The foldable walls had to be re-engineered due to the weight. The project could be finished in late November/early December.
The auditorium project came in at a higher bid due to the dehumidification/climate control units at $60,000 over budget. The control units are out-of-date and would have to be upgraded. This would apply to the cafeteria as well.
The project was originally budgeted at $350,000 and is now up to $475,000. . .
