White and Uselman qualify for State

Sections were held on Monday and Tuesday, June 5 and 6.
The girls had 13 teams and 79 golfers there.
Mallory Uselman had a great day on the first day of sections. She started off with a bogey but shortly after got it back with a birdie.
In the first half of her round, she was 3 over. She struggled a little in the second half. She carded 3 birdies on her round. She ended up +8, 80.
That put her in fourth place after the first round of sections, which qualified her for day two.
The team didn’t make it to the second day.
The boys had 17 teams and 103 golfers there.
Carter White had a great round on his first day as well. He was +1 after his first 9. He made the turn and eventually had 3 birdies in 4 holes to put him -2. He eventually gave a couple of strokes back and finished even par at 72 for a second-place finish on day one. He had 4 birdies on his round. . .
