Garage destroyed by fire

The Hewitt and Bertha fire departments responded to a call of a garage fire at the Earl Bakken residence on Tamarack Road in rural Hewitt on Friday, April 30, at approximately 4:50 p.m. The fire started when the residents were burning brush and it spread to the garage.
