Permanent School Fund Amendment would Change how Minnesota Distributes School Trust Money

Minnesota voters will decide on November 3 whether to change the state Constitution to alter how the Permanent School Fund is invested and how money from the fund is distributed to public schools. The proposed constitutional amendment, would take effect July 1, 2027, if approved. Township Election Results

Township Election Day was Tuesday, March 10. Townships held their annual meeting and elections. They can choose to have elections on the second Tuesday in March or on election day in November. The township boards are made up of three supervisors, one clerk and one treasurer. The supervisors have the voting power to make decisions on behalf of the township residents.
