The Bertha-Hewitt Bears improved their season record to 2-0 with a hard-fought 26-14 victory over Ogilvie on Friday, September 5. The game took place on First Responders Night, where the Bears honored the men and women who serve the community with dedication and sacrifice. A special thank you goes to the Ambitious 4-H Club for providing gifts to each first responder.

Head Coach Jared Hoemberg praised his team’s toughness: “This was a back-and-forth game against a very physical opponent. Our team did a great job of buckling down when things got tough and leading the way to help us persevere..."
