The Bertha-Hewitt Bears opened the gym doors to 25 student-athletes on the first day of practice, signaling the start of what we hope is an exciting basketball season. This year’s squad returns seven seniors and six players with varsity experience, bringing strong leadership and continuity to the program. The senior class includes Trenton Becker, Quintin Flynn, Rowan Hauer, Henry Lockwood, Logan Nelson, Brady Rach, and Isaac Radniecki.
The Bears will compete in a 25-game schedule highlighted by a matchup at the Target Center on January 17. The season officially tips off at home on December 4 when Bertha-Hewitt hosts the Henning Hornets. Coaches and players are looking forward to a great crowd to help energize the Bears throughout the season...
