Bears Dominate McGregor to Improve to 6-1

The Bertha-Hewitt Bears bounced back in a big way Friday night, defeating McGregor 64-14 on the road. The win moves the Bears to 6-1 on the season and keeps them in the hunt for a conference title heading into the final week of the regular season.
Bertha-Hewitt controlled the game from start to finish, jumping out to a 30-6 lead at halftime and never looking back. The offense was firing on all cylinders, racking up 458 rushing yards and 562 total yards on the night.
Head Coach Jared Hoemberg credited the offensive line and backfield for setting the tone early: “Our offensive line opened up holes all night long, and our backs ran so hard,” Hoemberg said. “It was a complete team effort, and it’s great to see that kind of balance and execution late in the season.”
The Bears played a clean game, limiting mistakes and staying disciplined. “We only had a few mistakes all game, which is really encouraging as we head into the final week,” Hoemberg noted. “That’s the kind of focus and preparation we’ve been talking about..."
