Bears secure victory in season opener against Hill City

August 24, 7 p.m. - The atmosphere was electric at Bertha-Hewitt High School’s football field as the Bears faced off against Hill City/Northland in their highly anticipated season opener. The final score of BHS 20 - HCHS 18 showcased the Bears’ determination, teamwork, and unwavering spirit.

The evening began with a heartfelt tribute to our local first responders, who tirelessly serve Bertha, Hewitt, Eagle Bend, and Clarissa. The pregame ceremony was a heartfelt gesture to express our appreciation for their dedication to our communities. . .
