Bertha-Hewitt Shows Improvement

The Bertha-Hewitt volleyball team continues to show steady improvement as the season progresses. Earlier in the week, the Bears traveled to Swanville, where they played competitively and scrappy throughout the night. Despite several close sets, the Bears fell 3-1 but demonstrated better court communication and energy.

On Thursday, Bertha-Hewitt hosted the Pillager Huskies for their annual Pink Out Night, playing in support of breast cancer awareness. The Bears carried over the adjustments made in practice, showing stronger teamwork and defensive effort. Hands-on blocks were more effective at slowing down the ball, giving the back row better chances to keep plays alive, and overall court coverage showed marked improvement...
