Cardinals girls golf closes out season

The Staples-Motley-Verndale girls golf team had been gearing up for the section tournament on June 2-3. They have played in 3 tournaments to close out the regular season.

Pebble Lake Golf Course in Fergus Falls is where the girls team played on May 16. The team placed 6th with a score of 397 and Mara shot a 103 to place 28th.

On May 19, the girls played Wildflower for the Heart of the Lakes conference final. The girls placed 8th with a score of 431 and Mara finished in 41st place with a score of 118.

On the 27th the girls golf team played at the St. Cloud Cathedral Invite. The team finished in 6th place with a score of 413 and Mara Uselman finished with a 110 which was good enough for 38th place out of 60 girls.

At the 6AA section tournament on June 2, the girls golf team did not make the cut to play the next day....
