Golfers win important matches: Uselman takes first at Wapicada tournament

by Jessica White

The boys competed at Eagles Landing on Monday May 20. There were 12 teams and 72 individuals there.

Carter White had one of his best rounds in competition. Within the first 5 holes he had one birdie and two bogeys. From then on he only had birdies and pars. He ended with 6 birdies on his card for a score of 68 (-4).

That was enough to win by two strokes.

Jackson White also had a great round. It was a record score for him. He was consistent all round.

This course has some long holes for him. With his age and size he can’t hit the distance that most of the others can. So he has to be very accurate to score well and that’s what he did!

He had mostly pars, with 4 bogeys and a birdie on his card for a score of 75 (+3). That was enough to tie for 7th!...
