The girls traveled to Evansville last Tuesday for a sub-section match-up. The game was an important one when it comes to seeding the teams for tournament action. Brandon Evansville jumped on the Rebels right away by scoring 25 points in the first quarter to Eagle Valley’s 11. Foul trouble and poor defense gave BE a 45-28 lead at halftime. The second half was a different ballgame. Brandon-Evansville’s free throw shooting gave them a 72-59 victory. We sent BE to the free throw line 45 times and they made 30 of them.

The Rebels mat men wrestled great during the week of Sno Daze. On Tuesday, January 27, the Rebels held parent’s night hosting a triangular with Sartell and Upsala. The Rebels won both matches beating Sartell 39-28 and Upsala 56-15. Then on Friday, January 30, the Rebels traveled to Ortonville and beat them 49-18.
