The girls traveled to Evansville last Tuesday for a sub-section match-up. The game was an important one when it comes to seeding the teams for tournament action. Brandon Evansville jumped on the Rebels right away by scoring 25 points in the first quarter to Eagle Valley’s 11. Foul trouble and poor defense gave BE a 45-28 lead at halftime. The second half was a different ballgame. Brandon-Evansville’s free throw shooting gave them a 72-59 victory. We sent BE to the free throw line 45 times and they made 30 of them.
