Jerry Jasmer of Aldrich signed up his brother Rick of Pillager, his son Jeremy and himself for the Mighty Mississippi Bicycle Adventure, a 1600 mile trip organized by Tom Sullivan of Minneapolis. The full trip cost $2100 per person unless they use the fundraising option. That’s what they did, raising almost $6000 with Habitat for Humanity and the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bartlett Township. The Jasmers left Minneapolis on July 26 with 30 other bike riders, and 23 days later arrived in New Orleans, Louisiana.
