Fifty-two years of bakery expertise is drawing to a close for Glen and Kenny Ward and their families. December 23 will be their last day in business. Kenny recalls his dad saying, “I came to Clarissa with five kids and a lot of ambition and we’ve been going ever since.” From the beginning, it was a family run business. Their brother, Arvid, and two sisters, Verlie and Donna, all pitched in to help. They always had delicious baked goodies. It will be sad to see them go.
