There are few sights more delightful than a child’s smile. Ensuring that your child’s teeth stay healthy will primarily depend on the habits they develop throughout their childhood. Dr. John Romstad of Clarissa has been a dentist for 30 years. He has been in our community for the past 26 years and he was willing to contribute his advice on dental health to help keep your child’s beautiful smile last a lifetime. Romstad says most experts recommended bringing a child to the dentist fairly early, around age two.

King Albie Notch and Queen Bernice Ashbaugh were crowned king and queen on Valentine’s Day, February 14, at the Clarissa Care Center.
50 Years Ago
February 26, 1976
Dan Boseck won his first two matches in the regional tournament in Morris. In the third match that would have earned him a berth in the state tournament, he lost 6-5. Coach Dean Bennet said, “We are very proud of Dan for the outstanding job he did for us this year.”

Richard Foote of Clarissa will be fighting heavyweight with the Wadena Boxing team in the Golden Glove Tournament to be held at the Wadena Memorial Auditorium next Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, February 29.
