“The outfield fence of the softball field needs a lot of help,” said Butch Booker during his maintenance report, “Eighty feet of the center field fence is down due to the flood. The best thing to do would be to have Oberg Fence of Deerwood come and take down the whole fence, re-stretch it and put it back up again.” Booker also asked if they have to put washed sand under the playground equipment and volleyball courts?

The students that participated in the solo-ensemble contest and received excellent ratings were: Monica Pieper, Darcie Hayes, Jody McDermott, Sara McDermott, Jeremy Wagner, Jon Benning, Chad Olson, David Gabler, Dani Parks, Erika VonOhlen and Mark LaVoie.

50 Years Ago

April 29, 1976

Dr. F.N. Grose was presented with an award for his contribution to humanity and to the medical field at dinner that Mr. and Mrs. Grose attended at Little Falls last Monday night.

The Clarissa Bucs won two more baseball games last week by defeating Eagle Bend nine to six and Upsala four to one.
