Jason Connolly of the Hustlin’ Rustics 4-H Club is competing in the Key Race during the horse show. Jay Hoffner of the Golden Gophers is also competing in the Key Race.

On Tuesday, July 10, an auction was held at the Rose Peterson residence in Clarissa. The money was being raised for the new Senior Citizens Center. Dennis Feda was the auctioneer. Helping Feda hand out items were Wayne Yates and Glenn Kotval. Clerking were Jeanette Pesta and Dorlan Allen.

Action in the Todd County softball league’s third round of play resulted in the following: Sod Busters defeated Golden Gophers five to one; Iona Rockbusters over Golden Gate 13 to 10, and in a close contest A-1 defeated Lucky Leaf 13-12 after eight innings.

The Minnesota All-State Choir will present a free concert at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 1, at St. Cloud State University. Kent Sticha, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milo Sticha, is a member of the All State Choir.
