Father Meemken was the Grand Marshal for the Clarissa Summerfest parade.

The Eagle Truck Stop in Clarissa offered gas for 99.7 cents a gallon for one hour on Saturday. Many people were able to take advantage of the great price. They sold 1600.20 gallons of unleaded gasoline during that hour.

A county flu committee has been appointed by the chairman of the Todd County Board of Commissioners. This is in accord with the request from the State Health Department to coordinate the planning and execution of a method by which the county residents can receive the Swine Flu vaccination.
