Royal Neighbor Camp #925 held their regular meeting at the Heritage Place Community Room on Tuesday evening, September 5, with Ella Lindquist hosting. There were 11 members present. After the business meeting, bingo was played. Prizes were won by Blanche LaVoie, Ruth McKindley, Ada Eberle, Liz Peterson, Agnes Determann, and Glee Reierson.

Gunfire was exchanged last Thursday evening at the Joe Perish Jr. farm when an attempted robbery by three youths was foiled.

The Clarissa Cubs Baseball Team lost in the first round of the State Amateur Baseball Tournament. The game was held last Thursday evening, September 3, at the Municipal Stadium in St. Cloud. The locals faced Kimball, champions of the Central Valley League, and were edged out in the thrilling game by a score of 5 to 3.
