Battle Lake Outdoors, located on Clarissa’s Main Street, was elected to the “Buy America Hall of Fame.” In their quarterly newsletter, the Buy America Foundation said, “Battle Lake Outdoors makes a complete line of high quality, all American-made fanny packs, backpacks, and sports bags in their Clarissa factory. A number of readers have written to tell us how pleased they were with products from the American company. We’re pleased to elect Battle Lake Outdoors to the Buy America Hall of Fame.”

The Rebels volleyball team advanced to the Sub-section 22A Championship match with wins over Battle Lake on Thursday and Osakis on Saturday.

The board of education voted last Monday evening to purchase more land adjacent to the present school property for the purpose of recreational purposes.
