Clarissa Police Chief and Lions Member DeWayne Hulke and Clarissa Mayor and Lions Member Jerome Schnettler helped other Clarissa Lions members deliver baskets of Christmas Cheer to area residents.

Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the elves passed out gifts at the CTCCC on Christmas Eve. Clara Wiegand received a corsage from Jim Gustafson and Harlyn Hanson compliments of the Wadena Elks.

The patrons of the Clarissa Creamery Division of Land O’ Lakes, Inc. met in the basement of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at noon on Monday, December 21 and established a voting unit for the purpose of assuring local patrons a vote in all the affairs of Land O’ Lakes Creameries, which the local creamery voted to join recently.

An accident occurred in this community early Saturday evening. At about 7:30 p.m. a car driven by Mike Sellin went out of control on the street near the Oliver Gilbertson home. The car hit two trees in the yard of Mrs. M.F. Meiners before it came to a stop.
