Pedestrian killed

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on September 29, at 1:50 a.m., a 1997 Honda Civic driven by Tristan John Walter, 23, of Wahpeton, North Dakota, was traveling westbound on Highway 34 near milepost 18 in Dunn Township, Otter Tail County, when the vehicle struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, Amber Rose Gorentz, 27, of Wadena was killed.

The Otter Tail Sheriff’s Department and Ringdahl Ambulance assisted at the scene.
