Pirates defeat the Huskies, fall to Braves

The Lady Pirates picked up a 73-53 Park Region Conference victory over the Pillager Huskies.

The Pirates jumped out to a 44-22 halftime lead, but, for the second half, played even with the Huskies.

The Huskies played a few different defenses against the Pirates. This allowed various players to answer the call and score; four players scored in double figures.

Reagan Ludovissie led the way with 21, while Avery Amerud scored 13.

Taylor Johnson and Katie Blaha each finished with a dozen.

Johnson had 13 rebounds to finish with a double-double....
