To kick off the Section 5A postseason, the #2 ranked Verndale Pirates hosted the #7 ranked Browerville-Eagle Valley Tigers.
Verndale recorded a 78-58 victory.
Offensively, the Pirates had a season low 7 turnovers, while the Tigers had 18 turnovers.
Verndale scored 24 points off of B-EV turnovers.
Avery Amerud and Olivia Stanley each had 3 steals that led to quick transition points.
The Tigers outrebounded the Pirates 40-37.
Reagen Ludovissie hit six 3 pointers and finished with 30 points.
Taylor Johnson distributed 8 assists and scored 11 points....
