Despite a poor shooting night, the Verndale Pirates were able to get second chance opportunities to get a 57-42 victory over the Browerville-Eagle Valley Tigers.

In the first half, the Pirates grabbed 10 offensive rebounds and led 30-16. On the night, the Pirates shot 31% (15/42), while the Tigers shot 38% (14/37)....
