Pirates girls take on 3 foes

The Pirates trailed by 11 points in the second half against the New York Mills Eagles but fought to force overtime.

Ultimately, the Eagles came out on top 65-60.

The Pirates suffered from a slow start and trailed 19-24 at the half.

Late in the second half, a Katie Blaha free throw tied the game at 50-50.

At the end of regulation, the game was 56-56.

In overtime, after a 60-60 tie, the Eagles made a three pointer, then two free throws.

Taylor Johnson helped spur a comeback with her defense as Johnson had 8 steals on the night.

Johnson, Blaha, Avery Amerud, and Reagen Ludovissie all scored in double figures....
