Pirates Struggle in Frigid Matchup against Wolverines

The Pirates entered the second round of Park Region matchups against the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines on January 22. Cold shooting on an especially cold day hurt the Pirates in the 15-67 loss. Verndale did not make a three-point attempt and shot 16%. Millie Schmitz scored 6 points, and Emily Elfstrum finished with 5 points.
