Sexual assault charges dismissed, Boe to spend a year in prison
On June 4, 2021, at 7:09 a.m. a Wadena Police Officer responded to a call in Wadena about an attempted sexual assault on a teenage girl.
A man gained access to the home by using a ladder and crawling through a window. Around 6 a.m. the girl felt someone sit on the edge of her bed as she was half asleep. The man was asking her questions about a man in the house the night prior and “dick pics” and she had no knowledge of this.
The man lay down next to her during this conversation. The man had slid his hand on her upper calf, thigh, and under her shorts and began rubbing her breasts on the outside of her shirt. The girl fully woke up, recognized the man, and asked him what he was doing.
The man was identified as Jared Olaf Boe, 44, of Wadena. . .
