Three arrested for thefts and drugs

The Staples Police Department reported on August 2, while investigating several recent thefts and property crimes in the city of Staples, they identified the suspects in the crimes.

The Staples Police Department, West Central Violent Offender Task Force, Todd County Sheriff’s Office and Wadena County Sheriff’s Office conducted surveillance on the suspects’ last known residence and located a suspect exiting the apartment.

Officers approached the suspect at which time he fled on foot from the officers and ran into his apartment at 527 U.S. Highway 10. Officers pursued the suspect and made entry into the apartment. . .
