Verndale Earns Victory, Falls to Undefeated Menahga

The Verndale Pirates gritted out a 43-34 win against the Browerville/Eagle Valley Tigers on February 2. In the win, Verndale sank 16 free throws. All of the Verndale athletes scored in a complete team effort. Aspen Orlando led all scorers with 14 points, while Mille Schmitz added 8. The Verndale defense forced 24 turnovers. Adeley Hinkle finished with 3 steals.
