Verndale falls to Eagles

In the first Park Region Conference game of the season, the Verndale Pirates fell to the New York Mills Eagles 26-61.

The Pirates struggled to convert on offensive opportunities, shooting just 33% from the freethrow line and 27% from the field.

Additionally, they had 26 turnovers. Kaija Madsen and Aspen Orlando each elevated and had 7 rebounds....
