Isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic has had a severe impact on seniors. The hope for the WRAP conference is to create a support network and wellness plan creation.

“WRAP is a self-created Wellness plan. During COVID-19, we are able to send materials to individuals and then present the two-day program on Zoom at no cost due to a grant from the Central MN Council on Aging. This offering is specifically for seniors in Todd County. During COVID-19, isolation has had a severe impact on seniors. Our hope is to create a support network and assist seniors in creating a plan for themselves,” said Jode Freyholtz-London about the WRAP program.

WRAP, which stands for Wellness Recovery Action Plan, is “a prevention and wellness process that anyone can use to get well, stay well, and make their life more the way they want it to be through a series of tools and action plans called a WRAP.”

The virtual event will take place on October 13-14 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. This one is aimed toward senior citizens in Todd County, but anyone can attend the free event.

This course does provide 15 hours of continuing education credits and is facilitated by Copeland trained facilitators. . .
