Raiders Compete at Craig Hougen Relays
by Coach Greg Johnson The Bertha-Hewitt-Verndale Raider boys track and field team traveled to Bemidji State University on Tuesday, March 24, to compete in the Craig Hougen Relays. Competing in a 14-team field, the Raiders finished sixth overall with 38 points. Bemidji took top honors at the meet with 132 points. Personal Bests Pile Up at St. John's Indoor Meet
Several athletes turned in strong performances and personal-best marks at the St. John’s Indoor meet on March 27. Boys Jonah Berg led the way with multiple top finishes. Berg placed second in the 55-meter dash with a personal-best time of 6.94 seconds. He also took fifth in the 200 meters in 26.14 seconds. In the field events, Berg finished third in the high jump with a personal-best clearance of 5 feet, 6 inches and third in the long jump with a personal-best leap of 18 fee
