Bears top the Trojans, fall to the Wolves

This past week the Bertha-Hewitt Bears started their postseason play by hosting the 5th seeded Sebeka Trojans.

The Trojans, having dropped two games to the Bears earlier this year, came out ready to play.

The Bears found themselves in a quick hole to start the game, down 5 points 2 minutes into the competition.

Rochelle Dean got the Bears on the board with a basket from the paint and followed that on the next possession with an assist to Michaela Barthel, who added 3 to tie the game.

The teams played back and forth over the next 14 minutes with no one able to extend their lead past 2 points. The Trojans went into halftime with a 2-point lead....
