Darla Peterson, a bass clarinet player in the Clarissa High School Band, has been chosen as the first alternate for the All-State Band next year.

Mike Lorentz of the Todd County Zoning office wished to remind everyone that they still have two weeks to give notice to his office if they want to dispose of their unwanted junk cars within Todd County. The cars will be removed at no extra cost to the owners.
